The Alliance to lay new foundations for governance in Africa brings together African and nonAfrican players committed to action and
thinking, mindful of promoting dialogue on the management of public
issues in Africa among both African and world citizens.

Objectives of the Alliance

 Forging an inter-African public forum for dialogue and thinking on
governance;
 Drawing up and discussing proposals for changes in the
management of public issues in Africa;
 Spurring governmental and non-governmental players to take
initiatives to effectively lay new foundations for governance in Africa;
 Participating in debates on governance issues in Africa and
worldwide.
